Lead Teacher- Level 2 on the Montana Early Childhood Project
Duties:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans for children in the classroom
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child's development and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Skills:
- Special education experience or knowledge is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care and education for toddlers
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
- Proficient in math concepts to support early learning
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of subjects
